The NYC Arts Cypher is the perfect place for the teen who is creative and loves art. Eve Ultra Lounge
If your teen is into modernism and wants something classy and chic, then the Eve Ultra Lounge is the place for them. Eve is a night club located on Arthur Kill Road and they host a lot of parties. The lounge has two areas, the massive main room which has enough room to fit every person you know, and their VIP area upstairs which is sure to make your teenager feel like a celebrity. Eve even has a massive outdoor entertainment area outside.

Last week, chez vous had the pleasure of catering Greg and Shanshan’s wedding at St. Peter’s Church which located a few minutes from the Staten Island Ferry. The church with it’s magnificent architecture is the oldest of the 36 Roman Catholic parishes on Staten Island, having been established in 1839.

Fleet Week 2014 Makes a Return To Staten Island . Staten Island Fleet Week was established in 1990 while the Stapleton Homeport was an active U.S. Naval Base. The organization was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) organization in 1999. At it’s inception we started as a community based “Adopt-A-Sailor” program, which enabled local families to adopt crew-members for the day and treat them to either a home cooked meal, or visit the sites of New York City.
An all volunteer board and staff enable the group to fulfill their mission to provide recreation, morale and support the welfare of the visiting crew-members to the New York City area. To date, close to 250 military ships have visited the Homeport site since 2000. Fleet Week continues to bring in excess of 30,000 visitors to the event, not including the the crew-members and their families. Fleet Week is an annual event which takes place each year during the Memorial Day holiday.
As a joint effort with the North Shore Business Association, to show our appreciation we provided complementary lunch to the men and women sailors of the U.S Navy. It was our pleasure giving back to the men and women who serve us.

chez vous owner Ettore Mazzei has been selected as a 2014 Staten Island Sports Hall of Fame Unsung Hero. For the last 10 years, chez vous has been catering their events.

Catering menu will include a fruit and vegetable crudités presentation table served with hummus. Hot dog cart, and popcorn machine. Bow ties pesto, carved roast with cracked peppercorn sauce, and sea bass. Accompanied by garlic and smashed potatoes.
Staten Island Sports Hall of Fame is a non for profit 501C – dedicated to recognizing and enshrining outstanding individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Staten Island Sports History.

Melissa Mazzei & the staff of chez vous caterers teamed up with celebrity party planner David Tutera to cater Nicole & Dwayne’s Monte Carlo inspired wedding at the Prince George Ballroom in New York City.
What better way to celebrate a Monte Carlo themed wedding than by having chez vous ,a French catering company owed by an Italian family cater the wedding.

Monte Carlo lies in the French Riviera on the Mediterrean Sea coastline in the south east corner of France. It neighbors with Italy.
When creating a Monte Carlo menu, elegance and royalty are what comes to mind. What better than to start the meal with white gold, better know as Belgian Endive or French Endive.
Any Monte Carlo inspired menu would include the freshest fish from the region, a Wild Salmon will be served accompanied with side dishes from their Italian neighbor.

chez vous caterers Host North Shore Business Association Restaurant Crawl kickoff
Last night chez vous caterers hosted the North Shore Business Association Restaurant Crawl kickoff event. Event organizer Ettore Mazzei combined the event with his monthly showcase and dinner tasting where potential customers enjoy an evening of sampling house favorites.
Ettore assembled seven of the participating restaurants for the crawl to serve delectable delights. Gatsby’s on the Bay served a plum & crumbled goat cheese salad along with a mushroom pot pie. Owner Silva was on hand from Vida serving roasted vegetable cous cous. Vida is celebrating the Chopped win of their chef Sarah Pouzar.
New to the island, Toppings served a shrimp po boy and chef Warren from Daisy Duke Catering served up a slow cooked pulled pork. Tapas restaurant serve their house favorite paella & shrimp ajillo. Dock street was on hand with mini versions of old fashioned favorites, chicken & waffles served with southern gravy & grilled cheese with tomato & red pepper shooters. chez vous served hors d’oeuvres to include mini leek & red pepper empanadas, eggplant parmigiana, filet mignon on toast served with a horseradish mayo. Reowned cake designer Jackie Scaglione, who was featured on the Rachel Ray show, provided delicious cake bites. Mango martini’s and banana colada martini’s were mixed with event sponsor Drink King Beverages.
All participating restaurants are excited to showcase their talents at this years crawl on Sunday April 6th 1pm to 7pm. We have a various of restaurants that foodies will be able to taste from.
