The Nature Center Loop begins at the footbridge called Mitchell Crossing to the left of the Nature Center and extends to one mile long. This terrain is suitable for novice hikers as well. For a more laid-back walk, eastward the trail extends to a native fern garden stretching out under a canopy of tulip, beech, and birch trees.
