Staten Island Wedding Trends For 2019

Staten Island Wedding Trends For 2019

by | Blog, Parties, Weddings

Wedding trends are constantly changing from year to year and with 2019 now in full swing, it’s becoming clear what some of this year’s trends are going to be. Here are just five of these trends that you might just want to jump on if you are planning your wedding this year:

Personalized Goodie Bags

How many times have you been to a wedding and, at the end of the night, you get a tiny bag with some chocolates and a ceramic figure or some other outdated Wedding gift? 2019 is the year tradition goes out the window and Hollywood-style swag bags are in. Bags personalized with high-end cosmetics, soaps, & items that represent who the couple is all the rage in 2019. These parting gift bags seem to be jumping on the subscription box trend with how well-curated they are and all the better for it.

Balloons

Specifically, Balloon Walls are back in for 2019. Retrain your brain and throw away the notion of multicolored birthday balloons and really think about how Autumn colored balloons could enhance a rustic space or how shades of orange and red balloons could compliment a warm Summer setting and you start to see how Balloons can be a very viable option when planning your wedding decor.

Cakes

Now this one doesn’t seem like a trend at all, but hear us out. In 2018, the big trend was foregoing the traditional cake in favor of a spread of various deserts. But for 2019, not only are cakes back, but they are anything but traditional. Large, personalized cakes that show off a couple’s interests and styles are in; ensuring that 2019 is a time to go big.

Darker Palettes

With weddings becoming more and more non-traditional, it makes sense that the color palettes themselves would lean towards being dark and bold in 2019!

Outdoor Lounges

…and jumping off that trend of being non-traditional, outdoor lounges and lounge areas are adding a casual and relaxed tone to Wedding Days that could otherwise be quite stressful affairs. Comfort and relaxation on a Wedding Day?
